​Diane Bedford’s endless curiosity, artistic creativity and her love of animals have come together to fulfill her lifelong ambition to write and illustrate this heartfelt, delightful debut novel.

Whether she’s in the Amazon, swimming with sea lions in Galapagos, or on safari in Africa, her passion is connecting with nature and wildlife—especially with what is right outside her door.

Diane is a  “Feather Society” member of Ducks Unlimited Canada and a contributor to many animal welfare and conservation organizations.
